The Mandarin Island Miss Match (Japanese: してんのうカンナこおりのたたかい Kanna of The Big Four! Ice Battle!!) is the 99th episode of the Pokémon anime. It was first broadcast in Japan on June 3, 1999 and in the United States on April 15, 2000.

They meet the ringleader and two performers of the circus. Each of the two performers had two Evee with electric and fire abilities. The episode deals with how the two performers, Honoka and Belly, came to terms with each other and gave a spectacular performance.

The events in this chapter also taught Koharu an essential lesson about the relationship between a pokemon and its partner. Not just the two Evees but Pikachu and Sarunori too took part in the circus and helped them with a stunning performance.

Satoshi and Gou are going to have their next battle in Galar. It has been quite some time since we had a pokemon battle in the anime, so this championship is going to be a breath of fresh air for the fans.

Mary is the new character who is going to be introduced in the next episode, and it seems that the anime will mainly focus on her interaction and battle with our protagonists. Episode 99 will be a banger for sure.

Satoshi and Gou meet, Koharu outside of the famous Pokemon Circus. The audience expects spectacular performances by pokemons and their partners in this circus. Satoshi and Gou won a lottery to be the special guest in their next performance.

Pokemon Journeys will soon be hitting its milestone 100th episode for its run in Japan, and has shared a special new sketch to celebrate! The series has been following Ash Ketchum and new heroes Goh and Chloe across not only the newest region of Galar from Pokemon Sword and Shield, but every major region introduced throughout the games thus far. This has pit them against some familiar faces from the past and has introduced many new characters to the fold so far. Now the sky is the limit for the trio as they cross over this major milestone and ready to take on the next phase of their journey.

With Episode 99 of the series airing in Japan this week, the anime is now gearing up for its special 100th episode overall. The series will be bringing this milestone episode to screens next week, and to celebrate the anime's character designer, Shuhei Yasuda, has shared a special new sketch to the anime's official Twitter account.
